Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, The must of the French Alps

Chamonix is the world capital of mountain sports, in winter as well as in summer. You will be constantly on contact with mythical breathtaking summits. The Chamonix ski area is exceptional. The ski runs are incredibly long, some of them with more than 2000 m difference in height; the landscapes are magnificent! The itineraries in the high up mountains are the most renowned in the world. Thanks to the free bus network between the different resorts, it is possible to ski on every ski areas of Chamonix. After skiing, there is a busy life in Chamonix. It`s time when the restaurants and pubs begin to liven up, when everyone meet on the main square! It`s also time to go to the sauna, to have fun on the ice rink or watch the shows organized by the ski school. You will enjoy strolling in the streets, watching the children sleding everywhere. A bowling alley, a cinema and a fitness center are also at your disposal in order to make you fully satisfied.

Our advisers' point of view

You will be in there in the temple of skiing. We advise Chamonix to the very good skiers as the slopes are particularly steep. Chamonix is not very convenient for families with young children, indeed, the nursery school is rather far from the resort. However, passionate skiers just can`t miss Chamonix, especially Argentiere and the Grands Montets glacier.

Your website is tough to navigate and highlight the appropriate boxes. The ski shop was fine but I paid extra for red skis and ended with the same as a friend of mine who ordered blue begginner ski's. They seemed to use the language barrier as an excuse, also the boots were almost over used and very smelly. Will definatley return to Chamonix as ski area is excellent, will not use the same ski hire shop.

Le seul point vraiment positif de ce sejour est le magazin de location de ski ! Très sympa, service impecable, matériel en adequation avec celui commandé sur le site. Je recommande vivement a ceux qui vont à Chamonix ... qui pour le coup est une station plus du tout en adequation avec ce qu'on peut attendre d'un sejour au ski ( long trajet en bus pour rejoindre les domaine, forfait horriblement cher, remonté pas top) A BANIR !

Personnel accueillant et arrangeant, tout s'est bien passé.
Station très chère pour peu de pistes éparpillées sur plusieurs petits domaines, et des rémontées peu efficaces. Il vaut mieux être en voiture si on ne veut pas galérer des heures dans des bus bondés.

Would be great to be able to see the choice of skis available in the specific shop, but other than that everything worked pretty well. I will be in La Clusaz this weekend so will use your website to rent again

Mis à part les couleurs un peu trop criardes à mon goût (d'où le 3/4), votre website propose des offres de location de matériel de ski très intéressantes. L'accueil en magasin a été extrêmement chaleureux, le matériel de très bonne qualité, je reviendrai louer mes skis par votre intermédiaire l'année prochaine, sans aucune hésitation.
