Chamrousse, Move your senses up!

The Belledone massif has kept its purity & has offered Chamrousse its most beautiful site. The site was made famous during the 1968 olympic games. Overlooking Grenoble from its 1700m, Chamrousse is ideally located south of the Belledone massif, facing the Oisans, Vercors & Chartreuse. Recoin is in Chamrousse 1650. Roche-Béranger is in Chamrousse 1750. The ski domain allows you to pass from one site to the other, offering 70 km of runs. Chamrousse has an authentic & traditional character. Technical & laid-back skiing blend harmonously there. Shops & services available on both sites.

Après 10 ans passés au skis, j'ai découvert la station où les gens étaient les plus désagréables : Chamrousse. Je pense particulièrement à ce qui tient d'office du tourisme. Mauvaise foi, indication erronées, impolitesse, j'en passe et des meilleures. Pas de distributeur CB dans le centre commercial... Le magasin cependant était génial, très serviables et flexibles et efficaces.

Just returned from another great holiday in Chamrousse, our third visit but first time of booking equipment prior to arrival.
Excellent service from the website, easy to use and straight forward, on arrival at the ski shop all went very smoothly!
If I had one small gripe it would be the equipment booked for half our party who are beginners was old and tatty. My husband had the 'red' ski package and these ski's were newer and in better condition. Would upgrade to these next time.
Excellent prices, will definately use this site again!

The staff were friendly though did not really speak english so communicating was a little difficult. It took a very long time to get ski boots, skis and then have it sorted out... like an hour for 5 people which was a little frustrating as when you are dressed in your ski clothes, its get very hot downstairs! I was not able to snowboard and so I was lucky enough to change to skiis without a problem.
Excellent!!!
