Ski hire in Principality of Andorra
The Principality of Andorra, nestled in the heart of the Pyrenees, between France and Spain, offers high altitude ski resorts which are all interconnected.
The Grandvalira ski area includes the resorts of Canillo, Pas de La Case, Encamp, El Tarter and Grau Roig. You can enjoy 92 kilometres of ski slopes centred around 29 ski lifts. The altitude of the ski area ensures excellent snow quality and the area has nearly 400 snow cannons. Those who enjoy snowboarding can benefit from one of the best snow parks in the Pyrenees. The other ski area is Vallnord and includes the ski resorts of Ordino, perched at an altitude of nearly 2000 m, and Pal-Arinsal. Less extensive than Grandvalira, the Vallnord ski area has 66 kilometres of slopes and 41 ski lifts.
Access to the ski resorts in Andorra is fairly easy from Toulouse airport located less than 200 km from Andorra, or from Barcelona airport located 202 km from the Andorran resorts.
Andorra remains one of the least known winter destinations in Europe despite offering all the services and accommodation required for a perfect ski holiday. Most of the resorts continue to operate after the ski slopes have closed with many good quality bars and restaurants.
